green
Christmas is as good an excuse as any to start flashing your wish list in front of the OH. In my opinion, the earlier you start the better, we've still got plenty of time to hammer it in... What sorts of chickeny things have you got on your wish list this year? I'm really hoping to get an eglu extension and a pair of these gorgeous wellies!
jester
I really like those hen wellies, what internet shop did you see those on?
green
http://www.funky-wellington-boots.co.uk/shorties-chicken-wellies.php They do a shorter and a longer version. I like these as well, but not keen on the colour choices!
Chortle Chook
That's one for Omlet. Wellies that co-ordinate with Eglus I'd really like a token (large) for somewhere that has chickens for sale. Failing that I'll settle for 1.a nice baby dish (the old fashioned china sort that can't be tipped over) that has chickens on it 2.a book of chicken breeds with gorgeous pictures (would beat going over seed catalogues ready for next spring ) 3. a WIR
jester
I've asked my husband for a years subscription to 'practical poultry' magazine which means you also get some free hen books. I bought a copy of this mag in WHSmiths last week and really enjoyed it, first magazine ive found interesting for ages except for grow your own sort of mags, but ive been wanting some snazzy wellies for a while now. Always thought i might get a flowery pair butive never seen the right pair, however i like the idea of hen wellies, im going toi look at the website and maybe get some for christmas. PeckyBeak
whoa! Those of you (like me) rushing to order the Wellies, there are 2 promotional codes still current. When you get to the payment bit it asks you if you have any promotional codes. If you enter 10percent, (lower case, no spaces) it re-calculates cost, then in same promotional code box, enter in capitals FREEPOSTAGE (again no spaces) you get that as well. Just tried it, and it worked, saved £8 on a pair of the chickeny short wellies. Cant' be bad !
Chicken shack
Will try the code many thanks
PeckyBeak
HI Chicken Shack. Aha, just re-checked printable invoice and it has only allowed one code. Both are still active, so you need to see which will give your order the most discount and use that code. My best discount was the postage, but if you are ordering several things it might be better to get the 10%.
Sageandonion
This is on my wishlist and on order http://www.flytesofancy.co.uk/chickenhouses/The_Long-Legged_Maggie_s_Six_Hen_House.html
daxigirl
That's a cool house sageandonion. Like it a lot. I would like an incubator + brooder set, some cube roosting bars, a cube extension, my greenhouse converted to a WIR, the garden dug, another composter, an estate car (unlikely, unless there's a lottery win). I figure that if I put enough options out there I'll get something off it. Does that make sense? Fingers crossed.
