PeckyBeak
They all look great, in really good condition, what a good variety of colours too, bet you were spoilt for choice. It's always such a good feeling and a great day when at the end of it, you are driving home with some new chooks to add to your family. Janty
Lovely girls. It does get to a point where a few more won't matter work wise, doesn't it?!!
Snoxy
Hi Janty It seems to me that the bigger my flock the happier the girls are...and the easier it is to introduce new girls...haven't introduced 4 before...always just 2 so i will see how it goes...i will follow my tried and tested plan and keep my fingers crossed 18 is definitely max capacity now so the hen buying will have to stop for a while Just had a very quick count up of your hens...47? beach chick
lovely! and I agree - the more you have the easier it is to do the introductions and more arent any more work than fewer - well that's what I tell the other half anyway...
