Janty
We have had the baby pekins and Orps for about three weeks now and they have settled in well. Thought I'd post some photos... The jubilee Orp in the middle is Dipsy. This photo is Elise the pekin. She is a cross between buff columbian and silver partridge. This photo is Po the gold partridge pekin that was a bit red for the breeders liking. This is Evora the salmon pekin. She is the daughter of the salmon cockerel that I hatched last year. The splash Orp is Tinky Winky and the gold laced Orp is La La. This is Elan the other silver partridge cross buff columbian pekin. Janty
I've edited the post to add the names. Basically we went for the Teletubbies and lotus cars. A strange combination, I know.

Janty
On the subject of lovely girls, I have to confess that these are my last girls for the foreseeable future. I can NOT have any more chickens without registering. I do not for the life of me understand how that happened. Chicken maths is very confusing. goodinparts
Eeek. That's a bit sobering. Well, if you find someone desperate to home any particularly amazing chooks, you'll just have to let your obsessive omlet friends know about it...
