harveypup
Sorry only just caught up with this post but it reminded me of when I had my six week check after having George. Smear due at same time so "while your down there" ... anyway it soon became apparrant that the overhead lamp was not working, cue nursing auxillary with torch and Doctor going "up a bit, down a bit, left, HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" Not my finest hour

The Dogmother
Don't you just hate it when strangers have seen parts of you that you've never even seen yourself??? Not my finest hour torches are part of the standard kit out this way When I got sent to coventry for a night it was like luxury with their fancy lights and stuff. Even if I did end up having to sleep on one of the beds they use for exams with women screaming blue murder
Tina C
Has anyone ever stood in the supermarket smiling at someone while franticly trying to remember who they are? Then it comes to you - its the nurse that was wielding a speculum last week. By th eway - if anyone sees Martin lurking don't let him in! Back to the orginal post - my OH would say - lucky chick (long time since he has been as close to anything like a cleavage). And can I recommend cabbage leaves for when the milk comes in (preferably savoy). You will thank me for this a few months down the line. Thankfully, we lived next door to Waitrose. feemcg
Well, having worked as a midwife then practice nurse, I have 'wielded' many a speculum - and I always heated them up (by the way, its amazing what you find sometimes, and I don't mean in the medical sense ). Lesley
I think you will all have to PM Fee - I have a feeling that we would really be off topic!
Popcorn
Oh no! I'd rather not know at all.... Please don't make that public on the forum Tina - I always do that. I think I know somebody and say Hello, then realise it's either the nurse or the person who serves you in the bank Still - nice to be friendly isn't it. even if they do know you inside and out
feemcg
My thoughts exactly Lesley . Feel free to PM me if anyone really wants the gory details .

bronze
Fingers crossed Claire - kepp your legs crossed! too late for that now I started bleeding at 11 weeks believed to be from miscarrying a twin. They never did pin down why I started labour early though. but my waters did go so the fact that yours are intact is a really great sign for you. If you do think you'll go early or do have any worries you can always ask on the bliss forum. They have loads of knowledge and expreince on there
