txswanie
I was considering putting up some decorations for the girls but I think they may eat them or be afraid of them. Is there such a thing as edible decorations. I was going to get some kind of little tree and hang raisins, small apples etc on there but I think they would devour the lot in a few hours..I might do it for Christmas day. Can chickens eat popcorn? What about stringing popcorn and hanging it in the run? Sorry, I am a soppy chicken mum.. Colette..

txswanie
A sprout and sultana wreath sounds very tasty, I didn't think about a wreath, need to get thinking cap on. If it was summer we could make them daisy chain tinsel.. ideas please?

green
ooh cherios.... can they have cereal like that???? Good point, most cereals are pretty sugary. Looks like we need to come up with something else for a chickenny Christmas ornament, thinking caps back on!
Plum
What about shredded wheat as bunting you could sew string through to suspend it or peg cooked spaghetti onto a line and strung across the run to be lowered on Christmas day. You could use food colouring to make the spaghetti green and red - that would teach them to fly
