debbie9946
Hello, I am going to worm my girls tomorrow, they are not going to be happy about being in for 7 days. lol. How often should I be worming them? this is the first time I have had to do this since owning the girls. Is there any advice, I understand that they are not allowed treats in the 7 days, anything else?
Egluntyne
I worm mine roughly every 3 or 4 months.

Lewis
I'm doing mine for the first time today, used verm-x but not convinced. How do you know it's working?? How quick does it work?? You started today with verm-x or flubenvet? I use Flubenvet - can really see them improve after a week of being on it You can send off poo sample and have the worm count tested but you can sometimes see worms in their poo, I'd take it as working unless they're having problems
Space Chick
I only use Flubenvet I try not to let them free range much, and limit treats. I also do it quarterly

Chucky Mama
It is best not to overload their systems with too many things. It will probably work better when they are in better health and will cause less stress.
goodinparts
Decided it was time to worm my 3 too, as they've had slightly grubby feathers around the vent for the last couple of days....but am being very dim about how to work out the ratio of flubenvet to feed... The problem is that I don't really know how much each girl eats each day, as they have constant access to their layers pellets...I started trying to work it out in terms of scoops per kilo (I guess that between them they get through 3 to 4 scoops per day) but my scales aren't really large enough for weighing kilos of pellets & the whole thing feels complicated and nothing like accurate enough. Last time, I bought a bag of the pre treated pellets but Countrywide Gloucester doesn't stock them, and I don't have time to go up to the Stratford branch where I got them before...so I need advice. I'm sure I read a whole host of helpful tips here somewhere a few months ago, but am feeling confused and anxious which is stopping me from finding them again...Advice please! I know you all know exactly what I should do...
