Bramble
I'd like to join you all, if that's ok? Have been yo-yoing for ages but new year, new start etc etc. I've decided to give the new WW propoints plan a go, but will be doing it online, rather than going to meetings (WAY too ashamed to go to meetings). Signing up tonight when I get home as they have a special on at the moment, about £30 for three months. I'd also be really interested to hear if anyone has good (or other) results with their Wii fit ... ! So here it goes ... Good luck everyone! craftyhunnypie
I'm back at Weight watchers tonight. I know I've put on a few pounds over Xmas - hey ho that's life. I'm having a big galaxy counters chocolate fix now as the damage has been done - so all good again from tomorrow - with just small choccy fixes occassionally. We have been walking the dog more and taking the steps each day and we've just got home and i'm no longer even tired. My diet is more a way of eating than a diet, i can have all yummy things.. chicken, cheese, beef, cream etc and in a few weeks I can reintroduce chocolate and wine after next week i hope i' actually losing weight though lol I am actually looking forward to stepping on the scales on monday - I am resisting for now lol

Couperwife
the problem I have with wine... is the fact I get gum cravings when i drink it (fruit gums, midget gems, licourice, you name it, if I can eat it I will ) so, I will ease up on the wine too ive decided to do "dinner cards" im going to write loads of different (but yummy) slimming world recipes on different cards and pick 7 a week, they will include the needed ingredients on the back to help with my shopping and my dinner planning. if i plan this correctly I can use previous nights tea for the following days dinner does this sound sensible? or do I sound like a complete nutter cathy x
ClaireG
That sounds a great idea Cathy I wish this cough would go away and i had more energy to do stuff. I'm being careful what i eat, blood sugar still much to high though Off to the diabetic nurse at 5-30 so hoping she can help. Have been wii fitting but can't do much at the moment. The body test, a bit of hula and one other gentle thing is enough to have me puffing, panting and coughing like a good un!

Griffin
I only gained 3.5 lbs over Christmas so I'm fairly pleased with that considering that's since December 15th. My friend at WW lost 5 lbs She only allowed herself two days off! I wish I had that will power

goodinparts
Put on 3lb over Christmas - and not likely to climb successfully back on the wagon while my sons are still home from uni - but we are having lovely sociable mealtimes, sitting round the table so I only half regret this. Come 15th January, though, I must get on seriously again...so please, when you've finished kicking Emma & dragging Cathy around by her boot straps, would you all feel free to apply the boot to me as well. I HATE looking like the Vicar of Dibley whenever I put on a surplice
Clash City Rocker
Up 2lb this week, though still under my goal by 1lb Only 25 members of my group (should be 40) weighed in this week. As a group we lost 6.5lb, 2 people remained at the same weight and we put on 55lbs. I ran 7km in the Gym today for the first time in over a fortnight, it nearly killed me, though it should be easier on Friday.
miffy
Hi.......mmmmm (hangs head in shame) you all did really well over christmas .........errrr well the good news is I weighted in last night ........the bad news is....I put on 7.5lb in 2 weeks the week before xmas I was 0.5lb under target and now I am 1lb over target. My SW consultant said shes never had anyone go from under target straight to over target before. Iam unique I am ok about it now, but have been feeling really upset and silly today...I couldnt cope if all my weight went back on again..my knees and hip are feeling this already. Had a good SWday today but the wine bottle keeps calling me this evening...OH is at band practice.... no one will know....
Couperwife
gosh, well done to your "consultant" for making you feel inadequate dont open the wine, YOU will know, and YOU will feel bad about it... what about tonic water and lemon or lime? or lime and soda water to try and take the craving away we are all in this together, im not having a class of wine either , clink!! cathy x
