I thought you might like to see the latest addition to the Omletina family....this is Gustav-Dino, to give him his full name....Lewis kindly let me have him and his name was Mr Dino when he was with him, and as all my girls have Swedish names, he had to have one so he is now Gustav + Dino!

He's been with me since Sunday evening and has settled in well. Some of the girls are flirting with him and others are avoiding his attentions! He's pretty noisy and doesn't seem to understand that he should crow at the crack of dawn, rather than 2 hours before, so he wakes me up, but I manage to get back to sleep.

I'm hoping for some youngsters from him and Karin my welsummer, or perhaps him and my legbar hybrids. I've had offers from friends on here who have broodies to hatch some eggs come the warmer months, so fingers crossed.
