keyhole kate
Am I the only person who is not getting a single egg? I have 5 1 and 5 littlies okay I dont expect the littlies to be laying but I only had the occasional egg since well before christmas and nothing since some have moulted and re feathered so I took that into account I have checked them over for mites, lice etc nothing I started them on the 1st Feb on flubvanet mixed in there pellets and have cut out all treats. I have had my 5 since april 08 have they perhaps reached the end of there laying life which is not a problem as I have always seen them as my pets with the eggs as a bonus Yours thoughts please
sparkysmum
My poots are laying but I've yet to see an egg from the big ladies this year. I'm hoping Boris my old ex batt has stopped for good but the other two haven't laid since September/October. No sign of the pekins getting back into lay either
bruciebumpkin
Don't worry... I'm still waiting too. I think mine are due a de-worming and I have cut back on treats as well - except when the weather is cold and they need a pick-me-up! I'm hoping we'll see some eggs by mid-Feb! Sam
4 chickens, and 4 eggs in the nest box today Sorry, couldn't resist They should be coming soon, the chooks are gradually going to bed later and later now
Kylie1007
I have never had an egg Saying that, my girls are still only about 22 weeks old and so perhaps still a bit young. I've been told that pure breeds lay later than hybrids too.

chicken bark
Most of my hens are laying (apart from one POL that has not started yet) and my ducks are laying too. So some days I get 9 eggs. Yesterday I did an emergency egg delivery to pass some on to relatives as I realise I had 56 eggs! I've had a few eggs each day over Winter but this last fortnight has gone crazy. Luvachicken
My girls haven't laid for ages either, at least since before Christmas. Every morning I look in their egg hole but still no eggs. I will have had them for 2 years on 11th feb (my birthday) but I hope they are not past it yet..... unlike me
