Right, to be honest, im not 100% sure, i did tell you id forget didnt i :lol: After painstakingly noting down exaclty which egg went where in the incy, after they hatched they didnt stay in the same place :roll: naughty chicks :lol:

Anyway, I have taken a picture of each chick so you can see and hopefully tell me for definate which is which.

 

I think i know which is which but not sure so will leave it to you :lol: what do you think?

They could be ;

Buff Sussex

Welsummer

Brown leghorn

Aracana/corton blue x buff sussex

Columbine blue

Columbine green

Its the black ones have me stumped, i didnt expect that.

Over to you Mostin and Omeletina, they're your eggs! :lol::lol::lol:

 

Oh just cross posted with you Omeletina, im really not sure if 2 or 3 are yours, have a look and let me know what you think? :D I dont know if i am ever destined to get my elusive green egg layer :roll::lol:

I think you said a green and a blue egg hatched from mine, in which case they are columbine females crossed with araucana male so would imagine they would be two chicks who would look the same. The speckled died. I'm guessing the welsummer egg is still in the incy and nothing happening!

My brown leghorn lays a white egg so think they are still in the incy too, and my coral nick white hen lays the giant beige eggs (think it cracked?)

 

The black ones could be Mostin's corton blue mix, think some of the other chicks she has from a corton blue mixed with something else are black?

 

Whatever they are they are mightily cute!! I really hope you can get a green egg layer out of them!! :roll::wink:
