Very excited and nervous, had a couple of dry runs and just put 7 bantam eggs in. Fingers crossed :pray:

 

Here they are (hatch)(hatch)(hatch)(hatch)(hatch)(hatch) They kept threatening to jump off the brooder :shock:

Here is lemon poot who I think has splayed leg - the little black/yellow pekin is successfully pecking off her/his plaster :lol: I have called the pekin Gnomio :P

i have justed candled my first ever incubated eggs they are at 4 days and they are all working they have a small spot with veins running from them really did'nt think that it would work as i have only had the cockerel for 2 weeks and he is only young so should have some light sussex x buff sussex and buff sussex x australorp coooool :dance::clap: ps good luck scarelotohara (hatch)

about day 7 or 10 then day 18 if you can wait that long

If you aren't sure what a clear egg looks like candle an egg out of the fridge any that look the same are duds

any that are dark are either going to go bang or are growing so put then back in the warm to carry on growing :lol:
