I have been looking for something I used to have when I was younger - in the late 70's early 80's - which was a packet mousse rather like Angel Delight. But unlike AD, you mixed it with water instead of milk and it became a lovely light fruit mousse. I think it was in a strawberry and an orange flavour, but I can't find anything on the web about it. I don't think it was available for long, and I have no idea who made it. Does anyone else remember it, or did I just dream it?

No, I don't think it was as from what I've just seen after Googling it, it was like AD but just a different make and made with milk.

Yes I remember that, it was advertised with the song "Hoots mon, there's a Moose loose about this house". I loved it (the mousse not the advert), can't remember what flavours it was, will have to do some digging

I read that on another forum, but thought they got mixed up with the Maynards wine gums ad! I don't remember an ad for it, just the mousse.

Sliced bananas with butterscotch instant whip on top - a pudding of the 1970s if ever there was one. My sister still buys instant whip as comfort food (as she lives abroad she tends to stock up when back in the UK and gets very strange looks at the checkout!!!)

Drinking yoghurt in individual tall, wine goblet shaped plastic cartons. Can't remember who made them. Now coming back as 'pouring yoghurt' by Activia in large milk cartons.

Having to eat lamb left overs for Mondays tea. The meat was cold with lots of fat. served with hot mash & cabbage.

We used to pour gallons of mint sauce on it to cover up the taste

I was raised in Leicestershire and my gran made something called Hasty pudding - it looked like very smooth porridge and we had it with golden syrup - have no idea what went into it - poss flour eggs and milk. Sounds strange but was yum
