Lewis
Labour party members have been urged to celebrate the forthcoming wedding of Ed Miliband and Justine Thornton with street parties, trifles and bunting, according to a secret memo seen by The Daily Telegraph. **Telegraph Link** Looks like everyone is getting behind it with Te$co making bunting and Asda making Mini Mili Trifles to rival Waitroses Royal trifles Sure they'll put on a big thing here for the summer. Will your street be having a party?

Bramble
A story about 3D radio from the Today programme on Radio 4 this morning (at least I'm hoping its an April Fool)
craftyhunnypie
Oh yes & there was a Whale seen off the coast of Aberystwyth! One one Signal Radio this morning... They are no longer allowed to call Staffordshire Oatcakes ' oatcakes'. As from 1st June they have to be called ' Staffordshire Oat Pancakes', due to European laws! Even had someone from European Government phone in with a dodgy accent. Don't go in the sea today Lewis, Free Willy might get you! The Dogmother
I can't decide whether the earthquake in Blackpool is one or not... The dogs were acting weird in the night so it wouldn't surprise me. I've seen it on various news sites so I guess it's for real.
chickenNutter
Well I'm near Blackpool and didn't feel an earth quake, but then I was fast asleep at the appointed time! Mind you I could believe it, as we have had some in the past that I have felt. They would have made more mileage out of it - Blackpool Tower swaying or something - if it had been an April Fool. Plus after New Zealand and Japan it would have been in poor taste as an April Fool methinks.
