lougarbard
Oh, how exciting! I am on day 19, I have got Millefleuer pekins and silver partridge pekins. But I am expecting them to arrive late, once I have gone camping!!!

Lesley
Oh, you are lucky to have a broody - we've got chicks hatching today but they're in the incubator. It's exciting but I do love to see a hen with chicks We're at 6 hatched (one died overnight, half hatched) and two more on the way right now. Mostly Light Sussex, one Barnevelder bantam and some Cream Legbar eggs which are showing no signs of pipping. We didn't get round to candling so we wait to see....... scarlettohara
Three pipping but think they are a way off hatching - I'm working every afternoon from today until monday so will proabably miss them !

atsw
Congrats, all looking good . I wonder what drives chicks to jump on Mums back . The Pekins I raised in 2009 all did that, and their broody was a big LF Orpington, so quite a jump to get on . The pekins I hatched last weekend started jumping on their Mum yesterday, so it's obviously and in-built habit! Well done on your hatch!
