moochoo
Firstly, hi everyone. I've not posted in a while but I have been lurking and reading. I thought I just do a quick post to say that yesterday morning we lost the last of our hens to Mr Fox. He made an appearance on Wednesday morning and I sent the dogs after him in the hope it would deter him. During the Winter the wind blew off a small corner of the walk in runs roof, about 2ft square at the highest point which is about 12ft up. Blow me if that's where the fox got through. On a more positive note he did take them all away and didn't just kill and leave them. I'm going to take my time and decide what to do next. I've got some repairs to do to the run and I don't want to buy chickens whilst it's fox cub season so if anyone's got any suggestions for a nice new flock I'd be grateful. Hope everyone is well. I promise to try and post more frequently and not be a dirty lurker!

Plum
Hello Moochoo nice to hear from you but really sad to hear the fox got them. Lesson to us all to check our runs for weakness. I think you should start with a nice feisty cockeral
