Sheilaz
Chickenopolis was looking sp"Ooops, word censored!"ly populated with only 5 hens left. So on Friday I came home with 2 Bluebelles, Olive and Myrtle, and a Blackrock. The latter is an identical mini version of my original Omlet hen, a giant Miss Pepperpot with a golden cape, six year old Chuckles. Hence the name Chortle! Introductions are easier with a "flock" in a large area. I just put them in and there's been barely a peck, although a lot of noise at the weekend alerting me to the fact that there were intruders in the run! The first nights I had to lift them into the Cube, but they all put themselves to bed tonight.

Sheilaz
Thank you everyone, it's lovely being able to share good news here. I'm just as excited getting these new chickens as I was about my original pair, and all the others in between.

Sheilaz
Chortle is particularly cute, very dainty and agile. Although her feathering is identical to Chuckles, the demeanor is very different. Thanks for reminding me, I shall take some pics. However, I need some brain to try the uploading again, so it won't be in the next fortnight (maybe 2012?).
