coco
After much deliberation I had ex batt Lily PTS the other day. She had, had peritonitis on and off since last October but the good days were getting less than the bad days. She had been free for 20 months and spent her last day scratching round in the sun. I thought I would let her go out on a good note while she was feeling well. RIp Lily.
gongladosh
Poor Lily, I can sympathise - we had to do similar recently. On the plus side, 20 months free is a good innings - that's about 30 years in hen years!

jennym
Sorry about your girl. 20 months of freedom must be lovely for an ex-batt, I'm sure she had a great life with you.
