I'm utterly disappointed with it - far too americanised, the soundtrack sounds like it's come from an 80s synth back catalogue and it's making me cringe. and they're playing far too much up on the american/british divide - like we're idiots. I want old torchwood back :(

Easier to just click the "Quote" button, top left of the post and you'll see the post in normal text. :wink:

 

Or press CTRL and the "equal" key to zoom in... then CTRL and minus to zoom back out again :lol: (think it works on most PC platforms, not sure about Mac)

 

Agree with the thumbs down on the bedroom scenes :?

Watching this weeks now and still loving it.

I love the pace if it,but then I am a big fan of American stuff anyhow.

I also love that they have a great supporting cast ( him from ER, the chubby bloke from Jurassic Park, the President from Independence Day,the gorgeous redhead from Six Feet Under),as well as the pairing of Jack and Gwen

 

It's all good :P

don't get me wrong, I like a lot of american dramas - but I liked Torchwood how it was before it got the yank makeover, now it feels like they're trying to sell it too hard and it's making me think "eww".

I really like it :P I THINK I may have watched a bit of the last series, I can't remember if it was torchwood or not. But I remember someone sacrificing someones child against the mothers will? :anxious: Could have been dr who? Which I really don't like. I would start a new paragraph but my return key has stopped working :evil: ... I really like this new series, but then again I like american stuff, and I love the actors and I like the storyline. So far fetched but it's great :P

Beginning to wonder if it's the 456 back for another round - Jack 'gave' 'Them' something 'years ago' and there were references to the 456 in the first episode.

 

Hmm.....

 

 

That would fit with the trail for the next episode about 'thinking they knew what they were doing'' but then there being nothing they could do.
