Margalot
BBc 2 at 9pm tonight: Natural World looks very interesting! A man in Florida spent a year with just wild Turkeys for company, he raised the eggs and then followed them through the everglades for a year.... has to be worth a watch me thinks
chickencam
I will have to tell my OH he would like to raise a turkey or two, I don't think we have anywhere near enough space and I don't fancy the despatching art either.

yvonne
Margalot, thanks so much for spotting this, I watched it and loved it - very much like chickens with the dust baths and jumping up to "pick" berries. What a lovely man. (My OH fell asleep too)

Christian
Just watched this on iplayer and loved it! Well worth it. Absolutely fantastic documentary imo.
chocchick
I just popped on to post in case no-one else had yet. I saw this on Iplayer and really enjoyed it. It was adorable watching him go through the forest followed by a team of chicks, and to see them perch around him, and when he waited until they went to sleep! They were quite chickeny. I liked the specific rattlesnake call and when they interacted with other animals. Glad to see it is not just me that makes bird noises and can identify specific calls (Katy has escaped and I am on my own racket).
