Jennifer Jane
Sadly I had to have our top hen Matilda pts this morning. While I was crying over the phone about her to DH at lunchtime, he said (in a moment of weakness) that we could get more ex-batts to bring the numbers back up. Well, while I will rescue some more ex-batts in the spring or summer, I would quite like a couple of hybrids now, maybe black rocks. DH has agreed to this, and, before he changes his mind, I need to find a supplier not too far away from our home north of Birmingham. So my question is - can anybody recommend a good supplier in the West Midlands/Staffordshire region? Many thanks for any suggestions. Bramble
Ollie's Chirpy Chickens are in Hampton in Arden, not far from you (my Mum lives in Sutton, so I know the area well!!!!), they are lovely people and very helpful!

ClaireG
If you can go a bit further south, i can recommend Cotswold Chickens near Banbury.

Sandychick
Newland Grange Poultry in Malvern are great. Only complaint is that there are just too many very lovely hens to choose from

Lewis
I'm in Sutton too, all my hybrids have come from Cotswold Chickens and its a great place! About an hour from Sutton, a journey I've made down the M40 every day this summer Could try Ash End Farm nr Tamworth, used to work there and know they have a few Hybrids for sale, best to ring first to check they have them in though.
