Chickens witness killing on Midsomer Murders!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Has anyone noticed chickens crop up more and more on TV. Last night a flock of GNR witnessed slaying of elderly nun  By the time the fuzz arrived they were safely behind a fence clucking loudly. In the same evening on freeview a garden in the Wirral owned by lady called Adele sported a few chickens happily pecking around and being made fun of by the other contestants on Come dine with me. I think chickens make a place looked homely and seem to be taking over from cats and dogs. :D

I couldn't believe that those hens were up and about in the dark! But it is always lovely to see some chooks on the tv - and my mother always phones me to let me know if there are to be any hen appearances on the box, or to ask if I saw them on some programme she has been watching! :D

And they were gonna eat one to celebrate the young nun becoming a full blown nun - dont they know theres little meat on a laing hen - someone didnt do their hen homework properly :shameonu: tuts crossly - yes the run was inaduequate - chicken wire - useless. i think I need to get out more - not alone there am I :D I notice he credits had a nun expert no chicen expert noted - naughty ITV - I wouldnt want to live in Midsomer and I think the chances of survival as a chicken might be under jeopardy too.

Perhaps with all the camera lights it wasn't dark

I admit that I did the 'Oh look, chickens' thing and OH sighed.

On the current series of "An Idiot Abroad" there have been several chicken spotting moments... which generally lead to me shouting "CHICKEN!!" at the telly.... much to OH's annoyance (despite the fact he is also a committed hen fan  )

Glad I don't watch Midsomer Murders, as I'd also think stuff the Nun... what about run security and foxes

I dont normally watch MSM but was under the weather and fancied some mindless TV and was treated to a sight of a nun being strangled and horrified chucks looking on!! :anxious: i will watch with more interest in future - the family is getting used to me shrieking "chickens" at the TV when a feathered friend appears
