Omletina Kyckling
Poppy sellers usually have some. Mum was selling poppies in our local sainsburys the other day and she had them.

Olly
Your local British Legion will have been organising the distribution of poppies, trays, collection boxes etc - if you contact them they should be able to tell you where to go for one. Lavenders_Blue
Poppy wristbands are a good idea, the paper poppies get squashed so easily (at least mine do). I haven't bought a poppy yet this year so may look out for the wristbands instead.
memphisto
I've got one, from a gent selling Poppies in Sainsburys, he also gave a us Poppies as well and said the wristbands were hugely popular this year, when I got mine there were white and blue ones there. I like the ide of the wristband because I can wear it year round.

Pipichick
I thought these were a great idea too. I will never be wearing the wrong coat again Bought one for DH and it was a little tight on him though, he is working on stretching it but it is uncomfortable to keep on full time. cyclonetog
Also got a couple from the legion poppy seller at Sainsburys. A friend of mine has a blue children's one which is too tight on me, the white one they got at the same time is bigger. Mine is blue though and bigger than his, so there are definitely 2 sizes of the blue one. I prefer the white one actually, but he'd run out of them, I'll try to get another in the week. Bramble
Thanks for all the tips, guys, I managed to get one from a Tesco petrol station this morning ... They had blue ones (which I bought), white ones and some funny sort of red ones ... they all seemed to be the same size though ... ie HUGE (there is NOTHING small about me, except my wrists ... a children's one would probably have been good!!!) Thanks again everyone, Omleteers to the rescue, yet again!!!!

bluekarin
Oooh I love the umbrellas, one may just have to fall into my basket. Gosh, they are nice. I like the black one with black poppies on the background and the red one on the edge.
cyclonetog
For those that don't/couldn't listen to radio 2, Jeremy Vine interviewed the mother of a fallen troop today. http://t.co/izgNfECG It's very moving, Helena, the mother is AMAZING. My words aren't capable of doing our forces justice, but it's well worth a listen.
