CAMPYLOBACTER: Anyone else had it?

Does anyone use these,or even have any info on where they can be purchased?

 

Since Casting discontinued my perfect grey hiding colour,I have been looking foe an alternative (down to my last box now ), & have heard that there natural colours give amazing shine.

But there is very little info about them on the internet, & the only ones I can see for sale are permanent,where by their nature they are supposed to be semi permanent,which is a bit confusing

I don't know but I'm interested in people's info. I use Lush henna and have been wondering what else I should do in case they stop producing it.

I know a lady in her 90s who had her hair dyed with a vegetable dye and it looked perfectly natural when you wouldn't expect it to. I don't know what was used but it was very well done.

I didn't know it was hard to find, I suppose she had it done in a saloon which I would hate.

Have you got an independent wholefoods shop near you ? I'm sure there are some in Reading, staff there will probably know.

My hairdresser said Superdrug do them - I was asking for a friend who is in remission from breast cancer and doesnt want chemicals. Hope that helps.

Hope they are the right ones as no idea on these - I have hilights - refuse to be a badger and if I ever succomb to big C I will rethink about hair colour then and not before. Not sure if permanant or not. Good luck

I spoke to my hairdresser about them - they're not good for covering any real quantity of grey apparently.

 

I'm going to stick to the chemicals until the stuff underneath is totally white (nearly there) and then I'll shave it off for charity and let it grow through white can't wait!

I only have a half dozen strands,so I should be ok

I have reddish coppery hair & my natural colour has faded in the last few years,so I want to dye to bring the tones back really.

It should be fine on your hair then Sarah, my understanding is that it's no good when there's a great disparity in colour.

 

Have you looked at Aveda hair colour? It's natural (I think) and supposed to be good. I use their shampoo, which a friend brings back from the US at great discount - it's excellent.

 

Sure, you'll all know about it both my mother and aunt have the same olive skin and pure white hair (lots of it too) so it should suit me.

Yeah,I know Aveda,but its salon only & I just can't afford to start doing that then maintaining it,so it has to be a home dye really.

 

I will keep looking - nothing on the Superdrug website though.

Sorry about that - unless its only in shops or something. Not sure who makes it. Body Shop used to have Henna dyes - but not seen them recently.

Don't know if any are any good, but worth a look. Maybe a look in a health food shop would be a good idea.

OOOh...Daniel FIELD!!! That will explain why I could not find anything about natural colours every time I tried to Google Daniel GALVIN !!!! Dohhh!

 

Janey Lee Grace (her from Radio 2 - so I am informed!) swears by his colours in her book 'Imperfectly Natural Woman' an interesting read for the slightly alternative (thats me !!) but probably a bit out of date now.

im sure that henna is a natural hair dye and you can get it in most health food shops
