freddie
After the heartrend of a ferret doing away with my girls the day after we moved, we finally have four extremley bald ex batts With Northern Fowl mite as a bonus.... Super!! Dosing, and having to throw out those lovely, lovely eggs The chuck chuck noises we've all missed so much are now present, in the new house, so I am a very Happy Lady

Purplemaniacs
Really happy for you, glad that you have some new hens. And giving some ex batts a new life is fantastic. We let our ex batts out to play with the other girls this afternoon for the first time, it has only taken us about 10 months to pluck up the courage and we both commented how good they looked compared to when they arrived Enjoy your new girls. jaspersmum
Congratulations!!! Ex-batts are just so rewarding, had ours almost a year and they're going from strength to strength (for that read they're now three very cheeky, feathery chubsters) we're pretty sure ours came with a free gift of red mites too though Still, it meant I was finally allowed to get a so every cloud... Enjoy!
