quickcluck
Or one that does coffee really I hate tea I think they are quite old fashioned now. But we've found if we go downstairs to make a drink in the morning we never go back up for a lay in! Have also about a senso type of coffee maker but I really want a light colour, and am not sure on their size. Any thought? Thanks. cloud
I agree with you about tea But, no, never used one - don't need an excuse to lay in - That comes far too easily need a good reason to get up or I'll be in bed all day
Patricia W
That's my OH. Great tea maker. Seriously though, we inherited one from my OH's Mum. The problem we found with it was keeping the milk overnight. Maybe moderns ones are different.
Redwing
We have a filter coffee maker that has a clock which you can set to make coffee at a certain time - of course you do need to remember to set it up ready the night before. My husband uses that function a lot. The machine is a Morphy Richards one
Charlottechicken
I've been looking at these, at the moment the teasmade is me! There's a couple of different ones in the Argos catalogue, as a starting point. The Swan one says it makes coffee as well, and the Breville is described as a hot drinks maker. They aren't cheap though.
quickcluck
I saw the Breville one, need to see it in real life tho for the size...... There is one on groupon at the mo, but it's uses ground coffee.... not sure about that...
Alis girls
My parents had one and I think my dad still has one - sounded like it may take off at any point - I am sure the modern ones are quieter - you could use and ice bag or mini flask for milk
Bantambabe
Tassimo do a white coffee machine http://www.tassimo.co.uk/discover/tassimo-machine-collection/t20/893 not cheap though
Cinnamon
Thats what I was thinking - get a Tassimo machine for your bedroom, then you can have whatever you fancy. I hate tea too - vilest of vile stuff But Tassimo have just bought out Chai Latte pods, which I know my girls will like - then there are the hot chocolate ones (Milka,Suchard or Dairy Milk) for bed time...... Angie
I have a teasmaid , it is a swan teasmaid . I use it to make tea obviously .....but also to make coffee, but instant coffee, once the water has boiled and gone into the tea pot i pour it into cups ready waiting with the coffee and i get to have my lie in. I can set the alarm and have tea as the alarm goes off or set it up and just press the tea button and the water will boil. I have had one for nearly 27 yrs and this is the second one , had an original goblin teasmaid . Tried the one cup machine years ago but prefer the swan as i get 3 good cups of tea out of it. When i used to get up for an early shift i had my tea ready for when i got out of the shower hmmm nice, but now i don't work, just nice to have a lazy morning with tea to hand.
