It's been lovely here for the past week

 

Sunny but still cold for most of the time although yesterday, was mowing the lawn in a t-shirt and... wait for it... got ever so slightly sunburnt

Sunburnt wow. I travelled to Nottingham yesterday and was amazed on the amount of snow still laying in the fields Very windy today cold but sunny. Going to find the suntan lotion

Started off freezing cold this morning again but it's been warm again this afternoon.

We've been in Norfolk, cold but sunny and really lovely; I sat out in the barn doorway yesterday, out of the wind, caught some rays and read a book... bliss It has been perfect weather for beach walking though, provided you're wrapped up.

We've had rain overnight - and a bit the night before.

That's the first bit of precipitation for nearly three weeks

It looks a bit murky out there but still feels cold. I think that the forecast for the next few days is milder and wetter...

 

I'm thankful that we've missed out on all the recent snow!

I am loving the warmer weather but it's been sooo windy the last few days. 13deg tops today, gale force winds, sunshine and heavy showers, saw a very vivid rainbow on the way home today.

Had a few lovely days here too. Sunny but very windy.

Tuesday was milder though and less of a breeze- 17 degrees!

 

It's a bit cooler today at 15 deg but definitely feels like we're leaving winter behind...

It was 25deg in the sun at 6pm yesterday =- absolutely lovely.

Tuesday was a lovely day here too - really warm early on but turned a little cooler and cloudier towards the evening.

 

It was cloudy yesterday and a similar start to today, but we've been promised some sunshine later on

Ended up really warm yesterday with a shower in the evening... the rain smelled so nice.

 

Dodgy start this morning; 11deg and very overcast, but it's sunny and 17deg in the shade at the moment. there are clouds of midges across the lawns outside the office and wagtails snaffling all the bugs.

Not as warm here but still been a lovely day, hubby is mowing the lawn that I started (yippee he will pack it all away !) Chickens are looking hopeful to get some cuttings but not much as I know it can be bad for them and I have broken out the flippy flops, my older girls that are no longer with me seemed to respect not to go near my feet, yet Trixie and Isla are more than happy to have a go must rethink my footwear in this lovely weather

After a few lovely hot days, it's 12deg here and VERY windy. The lads reckon it's around 50mph winds up here with worse forecast!

 

It was lovely at home this morning, in fact I left a line load of washing out to dry, so I hope that hasn't blown down the street.

The last couple of days have been showery and breezy. Yesterday was especially blustery and had a fair bit of rain. Been much cooler than the past week too.

It ended up getting a bit wild west out there last night - I had to have the bedroom window closed but could still hear wheelie bins and other stuff scudding down the road. No trees down here at work, which is a miracle. Looks to be the same again today.

Just had an unbelievably heavy hail storm! Now a thunderstorm (in Bath). Everything is white & the chickens are eating the hail stones. Just going to check how much rain is now in my bathroom as roof is leaking. Cats are streaking in soaking wet!

It's been a tad chilly here today and we've had sunshine interspersed with dramatic monsoon-like showers. Was lovely first thing though - nice dog walk in the warm sun.

Saturday was a mixture of bright spell and showers but definitely cooler.

Yesterday was miserable. Wet and windy and the chooks were in for the whole day- had to light the rayburn during the day to keep the chill off.

 

It's brighter today and there's a fair bit of sunshine. More rain tomorrow though and lots of it by the look of it

Much cooler all weekend, got soaked a couple of times and the wind got a bit wild last night.

 

11.6deg in the shade here and a cool breeze today.

This is tooooooooooo bad 2.5 degrees and sleet showers. Dont think we have had double figure temperatures for any more than a day or two this year. desparate for sun and warmth.

Been wet all day so far but raining quite hard now and 8 degrees.

We're due gales later but no sign of them just yet.
