The Dogmother Posted April 3, 2013 Author Share Posted April 3, 2013 We've been in Norfolk, cold but sunny and really lovely; I sat out in the barn doorway yesterday, out of the wind, caught some rays and read a book... bliss It has been perfect weather for beach walking though, provided you're wrapped up. That's the first bit of precipitation for nearly three weeks It looks a bit murky out there but still feels cold. I think that the forecast for the next few days is milder and wetter... Dodgy start this morning; 11deg and very overcast, but it's sunny and 17deg in the shade at the moment. there are clouds of midges across the lawns outside the office and wagtails snaffling all the bugs. Chickens are looking hopeful to get some cuttings but not much as I know it can be bad for them and I have broken out the flippy flops, my older girls that are no longer with me seemed to respect not to go near my feet, yet Trixie and Isla are more than happy to have a go must rethink my footwear in this lovely weather Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wet and windy and the chooks were in for the whole day- had to light the rayburn during the day to keep the chill off. It's brighter today and there's a fair bit of sunshine.
