Roasting here !!! may even be time to start wearing the ol swimwear around in the garden but the fright of seeing me like that may just make my girls stop laying and get me an Asbo from the neighbours !!

 

Anyway Im loving it but was concerned at the large group of contractors ? that came to the pub ( a nice refreshing drink with the mums after school )they all had red raw backs ! that's going to hurt tomorrow for sure almost wanted to chuck a bottle of sun cream on them whilst my friend wanted to fry an egg

Hot and muggy here with no breeze at all, just been for what is usually a refreshing walk, but just got hotter and sweaty!

It may be 103 here today but the humidity is only 32 % and with the constant breeze and shade it's not too bad.

That is what is lovely about this hot spell, it has not been too humid and most of the time there has been a breeze, not today though. It is definitely worse if you are stuck in a hot office which I was today, but was in the garden until it got dark this evening.

I have some friends from London (we used to work together when I lived down there) coming up for lunch today. I was planning a walk in the countryside afterwards, but have abandoned that idea... partly because they aren't suited to yomping through fields, and also because it will just be too hot.

 

Hope this holds for our street party tomorrow

It was 25 degrees here at 8.30am

 

Perfect summer weather, can't remember a year where I have seen the grass verges etc so brown, shows how hot and dry it has been.

There are quite a few clouds here now, we had a good sunset as a result, there is also a breeze but still high 20's. we went to the allotment at 9pm to plant a coupe of things and to do the watering and stayed until dark.

29.6 degrees on my weather station in full sun, 23 degrees in my bedroom where the display is. There are a few clouds around today though and a good breeze.

A very hot weekend. It has been the archery club chairman's 70th birthday celebration all weekend, have a go session for his lunch guests yesterday and today afternoon tea at his house. Couldn't have wished for better weather

 

Last night it looked like we were going to have a storm, but a little wind and that was all but I did hear that at Bourne they had a thunder storm and very heavy rain so much so that there were floods in some places.

I hate to admit it, but the heat & humidity are really getting to me today.

We were at the seaside yesterday & it was blissful - hazy & really warm, but with a constant breeze.

Phil drove through a heavy thunderstorm near Chesham mid-afternoon yesterday. very warm here yesterday evening, and 16deg at 5am this morning, but lovely and cool.

 

Currently 24.9deg in the shade here with a light breeze.

Stepping outside of the front door today had that sort of hair dryer feeling when you disembark from a plane when arriving in a hot country.

 

Our weather forecast is predicting some rain on Monday. A couple of downpours would be welcomed by my arid garden!

It was very hot again yesterday. But in the evening at archery there was a lovely breeze, it didn't help my arrows to hit the target but it did make it a most pleasant evening

 

We are forecast some rain showers Tuesday, Wednesday and next Saturday.

Gorgeous last night, walked through some cool woods with the dogs, and the breeze kept it cooler in the night.

It has been 30 degrees in our micro climate village all week......a cool 15 degrees in the dogs kennel.

I might start renting the out to hot and bothered friends.

It's the same here at work - we are quite high, so get different weather from the nearest village.

 

My kitchen is lovely and cool, the dogs chill out there.
