Cooks
you lot make me laugh ya do. The breeder is from up north and I am down south, he said it was likely was sold at auction or a show and was very glad I had taken her in when I did as she would not have lasted long in the state she was in. He was lovely and confirmed SHE was a RIR girl. He was so thankful that she was safe so and I promised him she would be for as long as she needed me. I did ask him to check his records to see if he could find any record at all of where she was sold so I could trace her owner, however that has not been possible. I also contacted the poultry club and the RIR breed Club to try and help. She has since grown her feathers back and has been living alone but with lots of visits by me, until she got strong enough to be intro'd into my crew, which is happening right now. She's a joy and has the loveliest little chatter. Regarding the ring, Redwing is right it is the size for a RIR female and to be honest there's lots of room on her leg, it's like an ankle chain
