Anyone use copic colouring pens ?

Recommended Posts

In a moment of boredom I was watching one of the craft channels, and I was transfixed by these lovely colouring pens.

There were 72 in a box, and you could blend them, colour one on top of the other itself, and they said that they never run out.

How can the pen not run out ?

And does anyone know the difference between set A and set B ?

They were extremely expensive £195, but they coloured in a different way to any pen I've coloured with.

I thought I might buy some when I win the lottery :D

Not heard of these. I will also have to google & I also may get the wanties. :anxious: I once spent an extortionate amount on a fancy set of colouring pencils. They have hardly been used, as because they were so expensive - I have always been a bit scared of using them, as would never ever spend that much on pencils again.

Off to google these pens now. If I like them, I will have to slap my wrist as I DO NOT NEED THEM! :shameonu:

You better go and buy a ticket then :D . I take it you can draw, what do you do?

I can't draw for toffee

But I love colouring - not that I do any of that either  - and I did like some lovely stamps they had on there too, with cupcakes and a lovely little creature :D

I like making cards really, but never seem to get the time. I have all the stuff but just don't get round to doing it :shameonu:

My ED uses these for her drawings (she likes Manga, but does her own thing too). They are really good. They have a lovely even colour on the paper and you don't get the lines you usually do with normal felt tips. I wouldn't say they never run out - more that you can refill them. One refill is almost as much as one pen, but they will fill a pen 5 or so times, depending on which pen it is. I was dubious about getting her them due to the price, but went for a few small sets for her to try. They are worth it though if you do a lot of colouring and she loves them :D

Like me you need to retire. It's blinking work that gets in the way of a good life! Now you'll say you're only 25.

Afraid I'm no longer in the 20's bracket, sadly in the 40's instead.

I must admit I liked them for the fact that you don't get that overlap of colour, but they are expensive. But then we only live once ...................
