Bramble
Hi! I know others have posted in the past about electric toothbrushes etc, so just thought I would post this: http://www.superdrug.com/electricals/toothbrushes/icat/el-toothbrushes/# Some of the multi pack heads are on offer at about half price - quite a saving and with free delivery (if you don't have a branch nearby) thought some of you might be interested!!! My brother asked for an electric toothbrush for his birthday, got one in Tesco (Braun Vitality) for £15 reduced from £35 so have stocked him up with replacement heads too from Superdrug, should keep him going for a while!!!!! lillybettybabs
Thanks for the heads up on that.
The Dogmother
Same here, we use them so worth stocking up on the heads. ETA... they don't seem to stock the heads we use... or at least they're not appearing on that page.
Bramble
Some heads do seem easier to get than others - I made sure I got the same brush for my brother that I have as I know that when heads are on special, these are usually included
The Dogmother
Ours are the 'sensitive' ones. Seems they are on offer in Boots as well, so I may stock up.

Lesley
I recently bought these generic heads http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004V82JPG/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 They had really mixed reviews but at that price I thought they were worth trying. I've bee using them for a couple of months now and they've been absolutely fine,I've held off leaving feedback until I'd tested them. Ain't Nobody Here
Me too . I reckon even if some are duff, it's still a bargain! Another Omlet sell-out ?
The Dogmother
Phil will be wishing that he hadn't changed to a Phillips toothbrush. he has a Phillips Sonicaire Flosser, which he managed to leave behind last weekend... I could get addicted to it
Bramble
Wow, those look brilliant, Lesley! I've used some of the non-genuine ones before and found them to be pretty hopeless, but might give these a go if they seem ok to Omleteers - there can be no better recommendation!!!!! The Dogmother
My replacement heads have arrived and look fine although I haven't tried them yet as have newish ones on at the moment. I also ordered another 2-to-3 pin converter plug as we only have one and Rosie always seems to have it in the pit that's her room when I want to charge mine
Cinnamon
So, are these Oral B electric toothbrushes good then? I use a battery one at the moment, but there is a proper electric on,the 4000 I think,in staff shopping, reduced from £164 to £45 & I am tempted............ The Dogmother
Both Rosie and I have one; this style. It's brilliant and cleans very well. I'd recommend them.
Bramble
Have to say, I was very sceptical about electric toothbrushes, but wouldn't change back to a "manual" now - the heads are expensive, but if you stock up when they're on special they don't usually cost any more than a "normal" toothbrush so I'd definitely give it a go. Can't speak for the one you've specifically mentioned, but in general, they're well worth it, I reckon (might be worth checking on the price of replacement heads for the one you're interested in though, in case they're hugely expensive)? Good luck!
The Dogmother
I was a doubter at first too, but tried Phil's and was hooked.
Ain't Nobody Here
Mine have arrived too . I wouldn't go back to a manual brush now, I love my electric one . Cinnamon, that does sound like a bargain but I agree, check what brush heads it needs, some of the fancy ones (which are just gimmicks in my book!) are very expensive to replace. If it takes standard heads, then you're fine.

Bramble
Look around, they are often on offer in Boots. ... and Tesco!!
Lesley
We usually have the cheapest Braun one - we've not long bought the second one as they last for years.... this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003U9V7SC/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00 and the generic heads fit this one. My second pack of heads came yesterday as well - they are in different packaging to the previous order so I took one out to try. I've only used it twice but it seems fine - a bit tight to fit the first time but better after that.
