I am going cross eyed trying to find a long dress suitable for a nearly 17 year old. They are going to winter ball and the theme is James Bond. All of the girls are wearing long dresses but not prom style. We are thinking along the lines of a long black dress. Any tips on good websites We have done ASOS and Miguided and what feels like 1,000s of others. DD is size 6-8 and 5' 2"

Thanks, Phase 8 was a bit pricey and we have had a look around TKmax. I had looked at Boohoo but somehow missed most of the dresses in your link Emily They look good and I think we will order one from there and I from ASOS to try Just found a 15% off code for Boohoo dresses PARTY15

It depends whether she's likely to want to wear it again....if she isn't then take a look at everything5pounds.com - does what it says although if you see something you want then you have to order it straight away......

Darn! Sorry but I've just put out the most glorious black halter necked long dress in that size - vintage 70s and in fabulous condition. Very simple and flattering.

 

I'll check but I'm certain that I took that bag to the charity shop

 

Lesley, don't know what Rosie will do when she has to wear a dress; if it isn't ports wear or trainers then she doesn't wear it
