Yes I think that is probably right, but with some people being more dead than others ???

Mrs Costa said that she starved to death, died in a fire AND was killed by a burglar. She told Camille that she was making it up, but perhaps she was one of the villagers who starved to death AND she was in the fire Mr Costa started before he killed himself AND wasn't a woman and boy (Victor) shot dead by a burglar?

 

Can't work out if Victor is evil or not!

I think posting a link would be a great idea as I don't think I for one can summarise everything that happened Perhaps you'll be able to see it on 4OD or whatever?

 

What did we all think then??? I am a tiny bit disappointed because there weren't enough answers But I thought the last 10 minutes were excellent, the drama and tension about taking a decision that its OK to break up families if your own can be reunited, the awfulness of having to give up children (not even yours in one case) and the twist about Chloe being given back to the family, but then Adele being sought out so the policeman's original decision possibly/probably (I wonder if the police are still alive?) turning out to be wrong in any case. The thing that kept coming into my mind was how like a WW2 drama it felt, the breaking up of families, whilst people stood by. I thought it was really powerful. And the scene which met their eyes the morning after was pretty awesome

 

So, what do we think the Returned are going to do with the Returned? And will Camille's Mum be safe? I think Victor is more good than bad, but I'm still not sure. And I really want to know about the flesh eating thing. Camille looked OK when she walked off into the distance.

 

Great news about another series

I was all set to be disappointed as I knew there was a second series but I don't think I was. I hope that series 2 is the end and we will find out all the answers, but if we had discovered anything major now there wouldn't be much to put in a 2nd series.

 

The dam has burst again and Adele is pregnant with a half zombie baby so there is sill plenty for next time.

 

I am thinking of it a a story in 16 parts rather than an unsatisfactory ending. Please don't let there be a series 3 planned

I've really enjoyed this series. Not many answers last night and a lot more questions. Is Julie Victor's (Louis) fairy, or is it Lucy he should be looking to? Where did all the police go? Did Pierre really know anything?

Looking forward to Series 2 although I understand it will be a long wait , and I agree with you chickendoodle I hope it finishes there.
