gavclojak
Hi. So I called omlet in the week to ask if the grub and glug was dishwasher proof and they didn't really know but the consensus was they thought they would be. I popped it in the dishwasher last night along with the normal gravity feeder and yes they are dishwasher proof, I used the 60 degree cycle. You guys may have already tried this but if not, well they come out like new. Thought I would share that with you
good_egg
Our grubs go through once a week the glugs get alternated and go through every couple of days... The grubs are leaking slightly from the "hooks" but not sure that's related! Makes the world of difference doesn't it.

The Dogmother
All my livestock feeders go in the dishwasher once a week, with a load of disinfectant, they come out sparkling clean
Alis girls
if you are sharing your home with a parnoid man re germs - do whilst at work or out - very sneaky but for a peaceful life. Yes sad I know but needs as must.
Purplemaniacs
if you are sharing your home with a parnoid man re germs - do whilst at work or out - very sneaky but for a peaceful life. Yes sad I know but needs as must. I think I may be the parnoid woman, I have never put the glugs or grubs in the dishwasher and as I have read the posts on here part of me was thinking arrrrrrrrh. Not sure I would want to use the dishwasher for us afterwards, I guess if I asked OH for a dishwasher especially for the chooks he would think I was mad Chrissie

charly1979
Im loving this thread even more as now I have a use for a huge bottle of Milton I have left over from my YS baby days but being really thick when you say bung it in where exactly are you bunging it ? inside the machine with the glugs etc or in the thing where the tablet goes (oh my you would never guess I have engineering qualifications !!) The Dogmother
I'd just pop some in a cup on the top shelf, it won't take much. A dishwasher washes at such high temps that it virtually steam-sterilises them anyway.
