Lesley
I'm sorry, but a car costing £235,000 is just obscene Can anyone tell me what the Ascari can do which my car doesn't? My car can do 70 mph (and more) which is the legal speed limit so what is the point? True, I could get into Stratford in 4 mins instead of 10 but............ and it is British, but......... In some parts of the country you could buy a handful of houses for that Edited November 13, 2005 by Guest

I can however hear the words baby Aston Martin - they should rename the programme 'Boys and Their Toys'

Beauty-Box
Hi, I agree, it's a total waste of money! I think it's a statement for someone rich to show how rich they are . After all a car is just a way to get from A to B. I'll stick to my vauxhall astra. Love from Rebecca and the girls. x
Mrs Frugal
That's what LSH and I think too. There are better things to spend your money on than a flashy car. My little tatty Ka will do me until the wheels fall off !
Lesley
Well, I have a Rover25 and according to the Great Clarkson - the wheels might as well fall off it! I love my car but will be changing it next March - I'm still looking for British cars - now I have a list of three..... Morgan TVR and......the Ascari !!!! hmmmmm.... Leanne
we all know men are just very big little boys and ive long since realised Top Gear is just playtime!! spending that amount of money on a car is obscene, think of all the people not getting medical drugs through lack of funding, or all the people made homeless by all these 'natural ' disasters? it would be bought by rich people who like showing off their wealthy status, thats all. i do agree that Richard 'hamster' Hammond is cute, although a little diddy! my OH is a foot taller than me, and that suits me fine!!
