Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Roy the cat and Sandy chicken checking each other out ... Roy tries to pat them through the glass. He is very wary of them when they are all in the garden together though. He sticks very close to the fence in case a quick escape is required!

Very cute.I wish my neighbours cat was as wary of my girlies.He/she is always stalking them and on one occasion pounced pinning one to the ground.Thank goodness my son noticed and chased the cat away.

Lol, fab pic! I have two wee dogs and a tabby waiting to get out in the mornings......open door and confronted with thirty chooks bokking for brekkie and no way will any of them budge! Big wusses but prefer them like that rather than rushing out to scare the chooks! Have found a dog quaking in the midst of a group of chooks eyeballing her with a 'what's your next move pal?' expression on their faces!....

Yes our terrier x spaniel stands very politely looking the other way, for any chooks to move out of his way if he needs to pass one on the path - even though they are all smaller than him by quite a lot as they are only wee banties

Hi thanks all. The one at the front facing the camera is Sandy, she is a crested of some sort. She has a 'frilly' comb. I think I just caught her as she was moving - obviously not her best side! She is fine thank you and yesterday laid her first (blue) egg in ages. Not sure what bought that on as she hasn't laid in months.

Oh right that's good to know. I have had all my girls from Heidis Happy Hens in Rugby and they seem to give them their own identity! She is very pretty, but highly evasive. The first day I let her out to FR she managed to get on the shed roof, I had to talk her down!
