Lesley
I'm sitting here with the same problem - the pain got me out of bed early this morning. I'm waiting for Ibuprofen to kick in before I can move. I found Pilates helped, but I haven't been able to do Pilates since I hurt my knee. Not much help if you're travelling around the country Mel - and driving def. makes it worse
Mel (& Paul)
poor you Lesley lets hope the ibro-thingy (I can never say that word without stumbling over my teeth!) kicks in soon.

Ladylucan
Hope you are feeling better today Mel, ( and Lesley) back trouble is no fun, i am apparently missing part of my back, around my neural arches, so exercise for me makes it worse. !!, but then so does sitting for too long, and standing for too long....... and after having hydrotherapy for one hour stopped me in my tracks for a whole week!!! I rely on pain killers to get me through the day.....
Cinnamon
Mel, I had terrible Sciatica for years & it was miserable,so I sympathise. I did manage to get rid of it though - I got pregnant & it went A bit extreme - red wine & Pilates might be better So you have my sympathies but no real advice, sorry
Ladylucan
When you drive Mel do you sit on anything.. ( ok, besides the car seat!!!! ) Would it help to have something else on their as well, like a flat cushion, etc?, just to make it abit more comfy as it sounds like you do quite a few miles. chocchick
I forgot to add my friend had a bad back and did pilates and it made it worse. You have to be careful doing yoga/pilates that they really know about your back and know what they are doing.
