craftyhunnypie
Anyone who still uses their phone whilst driving really needs their head seeing to. Obviously that call or text is so much more important than their life! I've witnessed other drivers on their phones whilst I've been out driving. I wish the car would recognise if someone was on the phone / texting & blast out a talking alarm " danger this person is an on the phone idiot" !!!! Ain't Nobody Here
I've seen that on Facebook. Agree, it's very powerful. I showed my son, who drives very responsibly but it's still a useful message to get across.
Beantree
I've been just as guilty as others. Forgetting to switch the phone off and then the overwhelming temptation to answer a call. But the worst offence has to be sending texts whilst driving!!!!
The Dogmother
Wonderful advert - people using their phones whilst driving really irks me, and I will blast them on the horn if I get the chance. My cousin was killed by a drink driver on his 16th birthday - using a phone while driving has a similar effect on your responses.
Cat tails
Very good advert! I drive a motorcycle, so for me it's impossible to answer a phone call, let alone send a text. But what I see on the highways sometimes.... Only a week or two ago, a car went past me on the highway and the driver looked distracted. He seemed to be looking for something in his bag on the passenger seat. When I overtook him in return, he was putting a sock on while driving... I'm not kidding... An actual sock... while driving 100 km/h... Another shocker was seeing a lady drive her car while holding a plate with her breakfast on it. I think people really leave their brain at home, when getting in a car!
chickencam
Such an important message. We were driving to work yesterday behind a woman who was putting on her makeup, at one point she pulled up behind the car in front of her at a terrible angle nearly knocking a cyclist off his bike. The Dogmother
I sent the link to a friend, and she tells me that when she started driving, her father stuck a picture of a woman with a cut up face onto her steering wheel - the caption was that she hadn't put her seat belt on because she didn't want to crease her dress. I was driving down the motorway once behind a foreign truck, which was driving erratically, when we overtook it Rosie said she though it looked like the driver was looking at a laptop on his dashboard. We noted the company and registration and reported it to the police.
