The Dogmother
Love you both too Watched it, and thankfully they didn't show too much of us - the girls were bored stiff and starving hungry. When they did eventually get the food, it was rubbish. The people at the next table had younger children and waited for longer than us! The Dogmother
The lovely park where she released the balloons (or rather tried to) is at the bottom of our road (remember Mel?), just 50 yards away and leads through to the town centre. I love it and walk through there 4 times a day when I'm going to work.
Egluntyne
I can't decide whether it will be Adua and Lloyd or the Twins who will win. The others may as well pack their bags now. I was cringing when Ed tried bribery and corruption with the concierge to get customers. Anyone with half a neuron would have realised that was simply not on. chocchick
The lovely park where she released the balloons (or rather tried to) is at the bottom of our road (remember Mel?), just 50 yards away and leads through to the town centre. I love it and walk through there 4 times a day when I'm going to work. That did make me laugh, especially as the guy in the shop said they would leave Banbury. OH was impressed that helium balloons didn't fly away. Claret I was very disappointed your bit was generally in the introduction, and there was only 1 line more more. (There wasn't more was there?) OH made some clever remark about how you were so cinematic they thought you would be good in the introduction.
buffie
watched it Clare and cheered you on. Rosie's face was a picture At least you can say you were on tv Must be easter on Jimmy's next sunday so you never know BBx
Jules.
We watched most of it..... turned it off because of bad language & Alexander was watching. Saw you though, Clare, & Phil, & Rosie & Lauren I liked it when Rosie looked straight into the camera & then turned her eyes away I see what you mean about the badly behaved children at the next table- the child in the stripey t shirt looked a bit frisky
Lesley
What a let down - not much more than has been in the intro anyway! How heavy were those leaflets she attached to the balloons - she'd have done better going into the town and just handing them out Mel - what's wrong with Lauren's autograph then? I shalll send her to sort you out! - she's twice the size of Rosie don't forget! I think it will be Lloyd and Adua and the twins left at the end as well. Egluntyne
. turned it off because of bad language Wasn't it all beeped out?...Not that that excuses it of course. When the two brothers were making a hash of things there was an awful lot of beeping. I was more bothered by their heavy smoking.
Lesley
...so was I - no wonder thay were so late with everything, always outside smoking!
Jules.
I hope they washed their hands after having a puff outside..... We got totally fed up with the beeping, that's why we turned the programme off.
The Dogmother
I didn't like the beeping either, especially as Rosie was allowed to stay up late to watch it. She commented on the swearing and smoking, said it was 'totally unnecessary' They didn't televise half of what people said, and to be honest, I'm surprised that Emma and wotshisface didn't get chucked off straight away - their food quality was so poor and Emma is so inept at front of house Why on earth didn't they get an agency chef in that morning when the regular sous chef didn't turn up...? We were booked in for 6.30pm and told by the Beeb that we would have to leave at 8pm, which sounded reasonable at the time we booked with the BBC, but when 7.30pm came and we still hadn't had any food, I told Emma that if she wanted our table at 8pm, she'd be lucky as I wasn't about to dash out halfway through our meal. If it had been any other restaurant, we'd have left after half an hour of waiting; children get bored easily and just want to eat and go. Shan't bother watching the rest of the series - not worth plugging the TV in for.
chocchick
I cringed when one man said they didn't have enough time and were buying pizza bases from the supermarket. Not sure if that's the Banbury one.
