BillH
Earlier this year in the pet section of Souq Waqif in Doha I came across the most gorgeous (and tiny) chickens I have ever seen: two hens and a cockerel. One of the two hens had laid a tiny egg, which can partly be seen in the second photo below. They were truly miniature chickens, roughly half the size of the usual hybrid adult chickens I have, and very colourful. The closest breeds I have found to these on the Web are Mille Fleur Bantam and Mille Fleur D'Uccles but they do not look precisely the same as the ones I saw. Any suggestions? jimnpaula
They are very pretty! Mille Fleur is the colour, the shape of the bird looks like a booted bantam as they have feather legs. I did wonder if they were Seramas but they have clean legs.

The Dogmother
Millefleur Belgians by the looks of it - very sweet little things with a lovely temperament. I once had two tiny true bantams; a white Japanese and a little lemon porcelain Dutch - they were the tiniest things ever and loads of character, but sadly not very hardy.
