Luvachicken Posted February 7, 2016 Share Posted February 7, 2016 (edited) I really enjoyed organising the Christmas Swap so I've asked if I can organise an Easter Swap ..... and I can So if you would like to join in tell me, so I can add you to the list. But please, please can you read the rules, especially the bit about telling me you have sent or received your parcel as it makes life so much easier. Easter is 25th - 28th March so I am thinking we need parcels to arrive before 24th. I have decided I will take part after all but who knows what on earth to make. I have decided on a cut off date for taking part as 21st February and will Pm people their swaps later that day, giving us almost a month to make something and get it sent, if that's OK with everyone ? PS I've put a link to the rules in Luvachicken's first post above - they're not too draconian but it does work better for everyone if we keep to agreed times etc. If anyone can't fulfil their swap due to health reasons, family problems etc just let the organiser know as soon as you can because there's usually a solution. I'm so desperate for decent carpet - we still have the same ones downstairs from the previous people - the house is about 30 years old! The underlay is virtually dust now but the carpet with all the heavy traffic from room to room is surprisingly hard wearing and no holes at all! Now that our youngsters have flown the coop we are daring to change it all! Next week I'll be starting on the dining room! Won't take much organising with only 5 of us taking part Have finished one part of mine already which I'm very pleased with ( I might like one myself ) Off to Farnham tomorrow to get some more supplies and just hope whoever I get likes what I've tried to make.
