Lewis
Is anyone attending Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace this week? 4-6th August Not sure what to expect with it being the first year but it looks like it'll be a great show. I'll be there doing talks in Adam Henson's Farm area and as part of Ask The Farmer. I know BHWT are attending and Omlet are sending eglu's for the poultry display

The Dogmother
Have fun Lewis, and mind the sun. Not got time to go, but OH's middle son went yesterday and said it was good. Some of the stalls were the usual suspects that you see at game fairs though.
soapdragon
How did it go, Lewis? Did you have fun? Any photos? We did toy with the idea of going after all as ES was staying with grandparents so thought we might take YS as a treat but were really shocked at the ticket prices - maybe I misread the blurb but it seemed there was also a £5 charge to park ! Some friends who went raved about it whilst others said it was just a re hash of The Newbury Show with a few famous faces thrown in There were reports locally of chaos on the roads into Woodstock so guess it was pretty popular! Lewis
It was a great show, we were constantly busy and answered lots of questions. Every talk I did was busy too! Tickets were expensive but much better value than Gardeners' World Live. I was at The Game Fair the weekend before and it was completely different, lots of things for the children to see and do, interesting stands I've not seen before and I've done a lot of the shows! Traffic was a nightmare on Thursday but the police and organisers did a great job the following days. Have lots of pictures I'll have to upload but there's a video ...2 mins in
soapdragon
WOW! Truly impressive, Lewis! At the beginning of the interview when she says...'I can't wait to get my hands on.....' she turns very slightly and I thought she was going to say 'LEWIS'!!!!!!! Seriously, a very polished performance, M'dear and one to be proud of! Thanks for sharing with us!

Valkyrie
Oooh hellooooo Lewis! Did love the Suffolk Punch mare. Always had a thing for them - had one of those old models by Britains when I was little. It went with the rest of my little farm. Need to get the real thing now!
