Cat tails
Found a toad in the Glug this morning! First thought it was dead, but then it proceded to do a few laps in the Glug! Chucked the water out into the border, including said toad. I knew there were a few crawling around, but this was a first!
Grandmashazzie
Yuck. I have a mini phobia of toads and frogs. In my mind I imagine them leaping in the air and landing on me, irrational I know.

Cat tails
Really don't mind toads or frogs, but they keep getting into places where they shouldn't be... Glug... living room... kitchen... Chickens were looking at mr Toad with great suspicion, so probably decided not worth the hassle. Don't know how long mr Toad was in the Glug for, as I came home late last night and only checked the Glug this morning.

You're not alone! I actually think frogs, particularly tree frogs which I regularly go and photograph, are quite cute - until they jump. Don't ask me why, but it's when they jump that freaks me out! Cat tails
I love them. Unfortunately th chickens love frogs too - ratbags Mine too, and the mice under the woodpile too I can't believe they hadn't fished him out and made a meal! They looked equally surprised and slightly horrified as me. The world in general is very complicated to Leentje, Ginger is moulting heavily and Merel is incredibly broody again... (and making the most of the moulting feather of Ginger! her nest looks positively cosy)
Beantree
We have a very large toad inside the chicken enclosure. Fortunately it is far too big to get into the runs but probably uses the external drinkers. It had a near miss last year whilst the grass was being strummed down; a cut revealed it crouched in a hollow so the cord must have missed it by a few millimetres! We're more careful now.
