Each day since the 6th Jan I have checked the nesting box for eggs.

The 6th Jan is when mine started laying last year.

Each day no eggs

 

I bought them wood chips and expected an egg as a thank you but no egg.

For my birthday I had a little plastic, purple hen shelter, did they say thank you with an egg - no.

In fact, they haven't even been in the little house

 

Today though, I got a lovely surprise and found an egg !!!

I think it could have been any of them.

Zoe has been the reddest for ages, Polly has been busy clucking and Gemma was very interested in the nest box today.

I had 3 yesterday! So all the ladies are back in egg business!

5 out of 6 for me. Although Amy laid one about three weeks ago and it looks like that might be it Four today though

The most of had from my 3 is 2 eggs in one day

I don't mind because I do actually have a little collection of eggs that I'm quite happy about

I'm getting at least 6 a day, plus duck and quail eggs. I have a lot of lucky freinds
