Janty
I hope that the photo works as it's several years since I last used photobucket. Here's Lauren my blue cochin. She was one of the original girls who I collected nearly ten years ago. I love her fluffy bussle feathers.
Luvachicken
She looks beautiful for an old lady. I hope she gets lots of treats for her birthday Does she still lay eggs ?
Janty
She's just started laying again in March and we are getting one pointy speckled egg a week.

Olly
wow, 10 years old! My original girls are long gone, but you must have started keeping hens not long after me. She looks well, and still laying as well - you must be doing something right!

Charlottechicken
Well done Lauren for reaching such a milestone! Such a pretty girl too, she certainly doesn't look her age. My Lola has just turned 8 and still laying, albeit sporadically.
Valkyrie
Way to go Lauren! My last beautiful original orpie went aged 6. But Egg Lou's last remaining Pekin, Skye, is still going well and is now 9 - which would have been the same as my old orpies. I do miss the big ladies though. Lauren reminds me of Sioux. I lost her aged 5. There's something about the big feather dusters that I love. Skye's not so bad considering she's a mini feather duster!
