Chicken Licken
They've arrived - they do every year and I feel just a little bit sad as the summer draws to a close - is it just me? I love the autumn - it is my favourite season, I just feel a little bit low as the last days of summer seem to slip away
chelsea
Im an autumn and winter gal. Love walking through crispy leaves with the dog, wrapping up with scarves on a chilly frosty morning - see your breath in the air, all pink cheeked, bonfire night, halloween and home made soups - Fab! I hate the heat, but love blue sky and sunshine - which we definitely havent had enough of this summer, lets hope we have a DRY autumn and crisp winter

Cinnamon
I love Autumn too, & its also my favourite season, but I know exactly where you are coming from here. Summer to me means long, lazy days in the garden with the children & Husband & however much I love Autumn, you simply cannot do that so much Still,it does mean that Christmas is only around the corner............. Karen & co.
This time of year always makes me feel down Even though I love Autumn and crisp bright days and cosy nights, the dark evenings seem to put a dampener on the day karen x
Laura & CTB
I dont think it helps that summer has been so bad this year - all I ask is for a couple of weeks of glorious sunshine now I guess it's too late It also doesnt help that I was supposed to be going to Spain with a friend for a week in September (a whole week of sunshine to look forward to) but now she's had to cancel. (so I'm planning on something extra special for next year !!)

Christian
We have had the fire burning for the past few nights as its so cold. But i love autumn! The blackberries, mist, frosty lawns, crumbles, stews and colours in the trees. My favourite time of year
Chicken Licken
Blackberrying....now there's a thought. The hedgerows are absolutely laden with all sorts of edible things. I can feel some jam making coming on.
Mel (& Paul)
I love all the seasons for different reasons - the summer is lovely (when the sun shines ) but I welcome autumn with the colour of the leaves, blackberries, bonfires, leading onto winter with the chance to light the fire, eat huge stews and cover all the wobbly bits up with baggy sweaters
