Karen
A couple of weeks ago I found something in the poo tray that looked like regurgitated spaghetti, but my husband insisted was 'worms'. So we ordere d flubenvet and added it to the layers pellets as instructed. But my hens will not eat the food! Their egg production has gone down and I don't know what to do...any suggestions on this? Poplars
I have no idea what has happened unless it was just because the worms were making them lose their appetite or something. Our chickens actually pick out the worming stuff (vermx) specially when we give it to them??
xChicken04x
How about cutting a grape in half and dipping it in the flubenvet? We are in the same situation as you and we just add it to their treats (e.g spinich, sweetcorn) We made porridge (with water, not milk) last night for them because it was very cold and added flubenvet to that (once it had cooled) Good luck! xx

Krysia
Those of you using grapes how much do you put on / in the grape? I have only ever mixed it in the food and although they eat it you always get the dust at the bottom and I always wonder just how much they actually get. suzi
Literally the tip of a knife in a quarter of a grape for an average size hen.Thats what I was told and it does the trick!
Snowy
I had to worm 7 hens with flubenvet and had wondered how to go about it. I give mine a treat bowl every evening consisting of soaked leftover bread crusts, pasta etc. And all the chooks get even dibs at it. I added about half a teaspoon to this every evening for 7 days. Chickaboo
I wormed mine recently and it was a 7 day struggle to get the Flubenvet down Phoebe - even her favourite porridge and marmite would not be touched!! But i'm a bit concerned reading the quantities you are all giving them, I was giving mine about a teaspoon each a day, have I misread the dosage!!! Well, they seem fine. The Dogmother
I don't think you can overdse on it, so don't worry. When I used it on my girls, I used to dissolve some in water and syringe it into their beaks; that way I could be sure that they all got their dose.
