Richard
Mobile phones and kids do have their advantages. Mobile phones have quite a lot of advantages Kids have some advantages Mobile phones and kids together - yes, maybe an advantage or two if you look hard enough and aren't paying the bills. law of diminishing returns. chickencam
My OH has a contract phone and as part of his contract he gets free calls between nominated numbers so we can all call each other for free which is great. The kids pay their own 'pay as you go' top ups.
Cate in NZ
I'm just wondering if I can find 12 baldies Clare, seeing as you were having difficulties, I've sorted your dinner party for you, like the good friend I am All you need to do is give me a date, and I'll send out the invites for you Guest 1; No contest, has to be your lovely Phil Guest 2:, well, who other but the gorgeous Freddie Guest 3: Another footballing baldy, Roberto Carlos Guest 4: Staying with the sporting theme, I've moved to the pool and selected the very famously bald Duncan Goodhew Guest 5: Adding a touch of class to this rabble Guest 6: Are you serving lollipops Guest 7: OK a little self inerest here, I know I'm not bald enough to qualify for an invite, but this one is for me to drool over from a distance It can't be all men, surely, so I've tried hard to find you a few women too Guest 8: Sigourney Weaver at her Alien best (glad I'm not invited now, even without hair this woman is way too gorgeous for me to want to sit next too!) Guest 9: Gail Porter, she'd keep the conversation ticking along Guest 10: I don't know this woman's real name, but she was in a Star Trek movie- lieutenant Ilia Guest 11: I couldn't decide between Britney Spears , or Sinead O'Connor , so instead I thought laterally and I've opted for a bald battery hen chicken, got to educate all these people about the importance of happy, healthy chickens Guest 12: Your very good self Please don't rush to thank me for all my very hard work in planning what will, no doubt, be very memorable evening *rushes to duck for cover*

chooks a go go
Hmmm Mine would be: 1) Steve Tyler . because i have fancied him since i was 12. I'm definitely with you on that one! AND I am older than you and have fancied him for longer. And when I tell them, everyone makes faces and says I am mad!? Do you get the same reaction? I think his extreeeeemely sexy. In a sleazy, big haired kinda way. Lush. I did have a bit of a thing for Justin Hawkins too....but I'm over that now. I would invite: 1. Ross Kemp - cos I heard him on the radio the other day and his voice is just dreeeeeamy. And hubby likes him. 2. Stephen Fry - I'm not copying everyone, he is just such an amazing man - a national treasure in fact. I love him. 3. Rupert Sewell - because he is gorgeous and I am just shallow. 4. Martin Clunes - because I think he is a lovely, lovely man. 5. Clarissa Dickson Wright - I think she'd be a hoot to have to dinner, I think she and Stephen would get on like a house on fire - AND she could cook dinner. 6. Hugh Fernley Wernley - because he is just fab and we would talk chickens. 7. Kate Bush - I have been a fan for like - ever - and she could tinkle the ivories and sing Wuthering Heights very loudly in the garden to annoy the neighbours. 8. Ewan McGregor - cos he just seems like such a top bloke. And because he is gorgeous and I am shallow. 9. Alan Rickman - devilishly sexy. But he'd have to come dressed as Severus Snape, just for a laugh. 10. Johnny Depp. Do I NEEEEEEEEEEED to explain??? Thought not. 11. Ant and 12. Dec - they'd keep the party going for a while wouldn't they? What a great dinner party! I'm looking forward to it!
