BeckyBoo
"You're all going to hate me".......I do!! I haven't even done my favourite songs yet!! My brain was addled at work trying to think of them, now I've got to think who I'd like for dinner! I was going to put you on my list, but not if you keep thinking up awkward, mind consuming questions! Mrs B
craftyhunnypie
That's ok - I have to entertain myself most afternoons - as most of our work is in the mornings. Afternoons I'm back over the road at home doing the phonecalls etc etc & going on here! Ooooo now who would I have? They'd have to be interesting people! 1. Peter Kay - mainly for entertainment value 2. Simon Cowell - as I quite fancy him! We could do a round the table X factor & have a ride in his jet. 3. Duncan Bannatyne - rather like him too & I like the way he says' I'm out 'on Dragons den. 4. Jamie Oliver to cook a healthy but gorgeous dinner & I admire him. 5. Joanna Lumley - She talks posh, but I find her hilarious. 6. Blanche out of Coronation Street -What a Star she is! 7. Julie Andrews - I admire her work & we could all sing doh rey mi !!!! 8. Richard Branson - mega rich, but started out with nowt & he could bring one of his hot air balloons with him. 9.Leonardo De Caprio - Mmmm mmm mmmmm! 10. Dawn French - as the Vicar of Dibley - Very funny! 11. Arnold Schwarzenegger - not saying why as I would get moderated! 12. Jim Carey - as he is never ever serious! There that was quite hard actually & I'd also like a full Orchestra round my table! Emma.x

ubereglu
Bill Bryson - I really love his books & his dry humour I've met him! Only because we went to my sister's graduation at Durham where he's chancellor! He's very funny and did a speech made out of 10 things. I can remember three of them. Always be grateful that George Bush will never be your president. Don't creep up on people and shout boo, as it's not very nice and scares people. Always remember to go and buy a copy of his brand new book in hardback the first day it's launched!

Looney
I can't think of 12 people I would like to have to dinner apart from people that I already know A dinner party with 12 friends would be perfect. Somewhere relaxed with plenty of opportunity to chat! Alternatively, if I'm allowed to bring people back from the dead, I would love a dinner party for two with my Granny. I would have so much to tell her and ask her about - in fact just thinking about it has made my eyes well up (blame the hormones!)

Richard
Now then, I'm going to be a party pooper 'cos I hate dinner parties. I'd have me, the missus, our son and his girlfriend. and "Ooops, word censored!"ody else.
Richard
when we got invited out folk would say 'would you like to come to dinner on Saturday'. Now we won't re-visit the problems I have with dinner (it's my midday meal, I have my tea in the evenings) but concentrate on the fact that I don't want to go. so I used to say, I don't know if I'll be hungry on Saturday. Of course it didn't matter if it was a different day, I've only picked Saturday as a 'for instance'. It could be a Friday. Or even a day during the week - but that would be even worse as surely "Ooops, word censored!"ody wants to go out and have to be nice to people at a dinner party and then get home late and then go to work the next day. Dinner parties - nightmare scenarios. Spawn of the devil. We didn't get invited a lot after I'd said my bit about not being hungry. Great. I like eating in. Richard No Mates.
