I can see why you like Gethin - nice hips - not as nice as Mark Ramprakash though... I was surprised at who they voted out.. I thought that Kate should have gone, or John Barnes. What on earth are people thinking? Her Hubby (Kenny) wasn't so good either, although he had improved, but I couldn't believe Gabby & Penny were in the dance off. (Hereinafter referred to as the IGMTVB) I agree that although Gabby shouldn't have gone and was a good dancer, she just didn't have a personality to which anyone warmed. She was too competitive, and her determination to beat her husband was deeply disconcerting. He danced with all the charm and grace of a large wardrobe and should have be in the dance off with Anton and the IGMTVB Kenny is doing a Pasa Doble next week....in a kilt! This new format was designed to stop exactly this situation happening.....and if anything it has made matters worse. I didn't warm to Gabby...but she has been teated very unfairly. I enjoy "strictly" but stringing it out over two nights is pushing it because they just repeat highlights on the 2nd night of what we have seen the night before and then last night we had wet wet wet singing a hit from the nineties!!..... I think they are just stretching out a good idea, trying to pad out the viewing figures - it makes both programmes laboured and long-winded. What a star Anton is...for coping so well on the dance floor and then being so gracious about her performance. Maybe she is improving....but she is still bloomin' terrible and should go.
