I did think that Matt slightly had the edge over her last night (only) and I was worried that she might lose. We watched it recorded so no chance to vote. What is on on Christmas Day then? I was really in a panic during alesha's show dance because I thought the wardrobe people had made a big boo boo with her dress and was worried she was going to get her leg stuck in it! I thought he had the edge (slightly) until I re watched it later with my daughter. We agreed that it was Flavia who made the showdance spectacular, not him, although the lifts were very brave. I didn't spot any smugness in Alesha at all. She seemed her usual effervescent and gracious self to me. I'm thrilled that she won. What on earth was her mother wearing? I liked them both and would have found it very hard to make a decision. I felt the judges were pushing for Aslesha to win. Oh and I simply adore Bruno. I would love to have him round for Christmas Day! We couldn't help but comment on the way Matt kept looking at and kissing Flavia .... there certainly seems to be a chemistry there .... I did wonder however if he was applying a bit of psychology.....by being brutal and getting the audience to vote for her.....as in the Garroway factor. That's what happened the whole series. That's exactly how Garroway & Kenny stayed in so long. As soon as the judges start being horrible the viewers vote for that "celeb". Sooo pleased that Alesha won, was beaming from ear to ear all night (mind you I did vote about 20 times ) They didn't mention how much was raised for CIN this year as they have in previous years The dances were brilliant but Matt's show dance was quite something, Flavia is a very good choreographer but Matt doesn't get to do too much tho At one point I thought that Bruno and Craig were rooting for Alesha and Len and Arlene for Matt, then Arlene gives a standing ovation to Alesha - most suprising, but the best girl did win!! How much he loves dancing with her, how much fun she has been and how he has done all sorts of mad things which he'd never have dreamt of doing before . . . all in all, his ideal partner. Oh dear!
